General Body

General Body Member : A General Body Member enjoys all the rights and privileges of a Member and in addition, can vote in an election of the society and can become or contest to become a member of a sub-committee of the society.

i. Qualifications for General Body Member:

1. Persons who accept the objects, the rules and regulations of the Society and strive for realizing the same.
2. A person desiring to become a Member of the Society which is voluntary, shall be an Alumnus of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur or professionals working in line with the objectives of the society.
3. An application shall be made by eligible Members to the Executive Committee to become General Body Members by remitting the one time registration fees and the prescribed subscription fee as decided by the General body of the society from time to time.
4. Based on the conduct and nature of the applicant, the Executive Committee shall have the ultimate power to accept or reject the application of a member to become a General Body Member.
5. The applicant shall be given an opportunity to be heard by the Executive Committee in the event of any objections to the said General Body membership application.
6. The Executive Committee’s decision on the application for General Body membership is final.
7. A person can become a member of the Society irrespective of being a member of any other organization, trust or society, whether registered or unregistered, including political parties.
